MEET THE CHEF

My name is China Leary. I am originally from Madison, AL and graduated from Faulkner University in 2017 with a BS in Forensic Psychology. Midway through my degree I had an epiphany, changed what I wanted to do for a living and started studying nutrition. I have always cooked since a child, but started my actual cooking journey shortly after that. After college, I attended Culinard Culinary School and while there got the opportunity to learn and work in a fine dining setting learning how to make food from scratch, cook on the line, prep, etc. My ultimate goal is to help people feel good in their bodies. The time I spent in those different kitchens has honed me into the cook that I am today, and I am only getting better. I also have a background in nutrition with multiple certifications and a MS in Nutrition. Over the past 6 years I have been able to use my background in the field to incorporate different cooking modalities, herbs, and spices that aid in the healing of the body. I offer group and individualized meal prep services and also cater and offer cooking classes. Whatever you are wanting I can provide it for you. Trust me with your taste buds, I promise you, you won’t regret it.
